The Board of Directors consists of five elected officials. The formation of the Board of Directors can be found at "About Us" on this website. Any resident of the Foothill Fire Protection District can run for a Board seat.
Persons interested in the Board meetings are invited to attend and participate. You are allowed to address the Board on any agenda item at the time of its discussion. You can also bring up items not included on the agenda, during the "Public Comment" portion of the meeting.
No action can be taken by Board members on these items at that meeting. This comment is provided by the Brown Act Open Meeting Law (Gov. Code 54950 et seq.) Board of Directors meetings are held on the Second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Foothill Fire Protection District Fire Station #1 in Burson, California
